Writing for ScreenRant, Liz Declan stated, “What ultimately saves the movie is unquestionably its cast. Unsurprisingly, given their respective romance backgrounds, Bailey and Page are everything audiences want in romcom leads.”

She added that the duo is “funny, charming, and ridiculously stunning throughout.” Declan concluded that the film “delivers the lighthearted fun and beautiful backdrops that it promises.” 

Brian Truitt of USA Today described the film as having “a certain comfort-food quality to the romantic comedy,” adding that it is “a basic throwback, sure, yet one that still hits the spot if you’re craving.” He concluded that the film works as “a breezy respite for those who dig the familiar in their escapist pleasure.”

In The Hollywood Reporter, Caryn James noted, “It is expertly directed by Kat Coiro and produced by Will Packer for maximum crowd-pleasing impact, offering the kind of pretty escapist fantasy that is especially appealing in these fraught times.” She also wrote that Bailey “sparkles as Anna.” 

Andrew Lawrence of The Guardian wrote, “You, Me & Tuscany is a perfectly wholesome and harmless meet-cute that starts by asking: What if the Little Mermaid had a Lady and the Tramp-style hookup with the season one heart-throb from Bridgerton, spaghetti and all?”
