Tom Holland Believes Spider-Man Can Excel in 1 Sport

Tom Holland is looking forward to Peter Parker‘s new adventure in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Recently, he revelead he’d love to play a sport with the iconic character.

Tom Holland wants to play golf with Spider-Man

In his interview with GQ, Tom Holland talked about how he would enjoy golfing with Spider-Man. For the unaware, the Marvel actor is fond of the sport and frequently participates in games. He was asked who the best golfer is among his brothers.

The 29-year-old answered, “Now that is a bit of a contentious question within my family. On paper, I would be the best golfer, but that doesn’t mean anything when it comes down to crunch time.”

He further added that his “brother Harry is probably the best match play golfer.” The English actor continued, “I’d say my brother Sam is probably the most consistent golfer. Paddy, bless him, is not a great golfer.”

Holland added that his youngest brother “has good talent and he’s the best athlete out of all of us, but he just hasn’t played as much as we have.” He continued, “And then I would say I have the best short game of my brothers.”

The reporter further asked, “One last question. Of all the characters you’ve ever played, who would you most like to go golfing with?” Holland answered, “All the characters I’ve ever played… It’ll probably be Spider-Man, because I’d be really interested to see how far he could hit it.”

Meanwhile, the BAFTA award winner shared that he is shooting additional scenes for the upcoming Spider-Man film in London. He described the experience as “really, really fun.” Holland further explained, “I can positively say that the stuff we’re doing, we don’t need. The movie works and sings as it is. We’re just adding the icing on the cake in certain areas.” He continued, “We’re finding some ways to add a little bit more humor. We’re layering in a villain plotline in a new way and some really fun stuff.”

Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be out in theatres on July 31, 2026.
