Melissa Barrera’s R-Rated Movie & More Included in Netflix Releases This Week

Netflix‘s new TV and movie release schedule for April 6 – April 12, includes Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler, Scream (2022). It is the fifth chapter in the Scream franchise and the first film to be produced by Paramount Pictures after the original production company shut down.

The R-rated horror drama focuses on Sam Carpenter, who returns to Woodsboro after the Ghostface attacks her sister. As such, she seeks the help of Dewey Riley to solve the mystery. The film opened to mostly positive reviews and emerged as a box office success, grossing $138 million against a budget of $24 million.

The star cast features Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, and many others in key roles.

Additionally, A Quiet Place Part II arrives on Netflix. Set in the post-apocalyptic world, the film follows Regan and her family’s battle against the alien predators. They find out the creatures can be defeated through high-frequency sound.

Additionally, Turn of the Tide Season 3 is coming to Netflix. The drama series chronicles the adventures of Eduardo after their life changes, coming across a boat filled with cocaine.
