Robert Pattinson and Zendaya sparked a playful superhero debate while promoting their upcoming film The Drama, with the conversation turning to who would win in a fight between Batman and Spider-Man.

During LADbible Entertainment interview, both actors were asked to choose who they think would win in a fight between Batman and Spider-Man. Zendaya immediately made her stance clear, arguing that Spider-Man would have the upper hand due to his abilities. “Does he have superpowers?” she asked, emphasizing the difference between the two characters. 

Pattinson, who has portrayed Batman, responded more cautiously. He acknowledged the point while avoiding a direct conclusion, “I mean, the thing he has like superpowers, right?” The actor also joked about being unable to openly agree, saying, “Oh, I can’t do it. Contractually can’t.” This prompted Zendaya to add, “We all know what he really thinks,” keeping the exchange in a playful tone.

The topic came up again during their appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Host Jimmy Fallon asked whether Pattinson had visited a Spider-Man set, joking, “Is Batman allowed to visit the set?” Pattinson replied, “I don’t know. I think I will be allowed,” before returning to the ongoing debate. “We keep getting asked who would win the fight? Spiderman or Batman? I’m like, I’m like, legally not allowed to say,” he said.

The Drama, starring Zendaya and Pattinson, is set to arrive in theaters on April 3, 2026. The film is written and directed by Kristoffer Borgli and centers on an engaged couple whose wedding week spirals into chaos following an unexpected development.
