Jason Statham’s Hit 2024 Action Movie Out on Hulu Today

Hulu expands its movie library with the addition of Amazon MGM Studios’ 2024 action thriller, starring Transporter’s Jason Statham. Beginning today, Statham’s R-rated movie The Beekeeper is now finally available to stream on Hulu.

What do we know about Jason Statham’s The Beekeeper movie?

The Beekeeper was directed by David Ayer, with Kurt Wimmer writing the screenplay. The story follows Statham’s Adam as he seeks revenge for the death of his friend, who was a victim of a massive phishing scam. The movie also starred Emmy Raver-Lampman as Verona, Josh Hutcherson as Derek, Bobby Naderi as Matt, Minnie Driver as Janet, Phylicia Rashad as Eloise, Michael Epp as Pettis, and Jeremy Irons as Wallace.

During its theatrical run, it grossed over $162 million worldwide at the box office. Since its debut in 2024, the film has received generally positive reviews from critics and audiences alike. It currently holds a Popcornmeter rating of 92% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Statham, Irons, and Raver-Lampman are set to reprise their respective roles in the upcoming sequel The Beekeeper 2, which will arrive in theaters on January 15, 2027. Indonesian filmmaker Timo Tjahjanto is directing the sequel, with Yara Shahidi and Pom Klementieff joining the returning cast. In addition to leading the cast, Statham is also producing the movie through his Punch Palace Productions banner, along with Wimmer and Chris Long.
