One of Universal Pictures’ star-studded period action movies starring Academy Award winner Russell Crowe has finally found a new streaming home. During its theatrical run, the film garnered mixed reviews from critics. It also had an underwhelming box office performance, grossing over $321 million worldwide against its reported budget of $237 million.

What Russell Crowe movie is now available on Peacock?

As of today, Crowe’s 2010 period action-adventure movie Robin Hood is officially available to stream on Peacock. It was based on the popular English folklore about a heroic outlaw who steals from the wealthy to give to the poor. The ensemble cast also includes Cate Blanchett as Marian of Loxley, William Hurt as William Marshal, Mark Addy as Friar Tuck, Oscar Isaac as Prince John, Danny Huston as King Richard the Lionheart, Matthew Macfadyen as Sheriff of Nottingham, Léa Seydoux as Isabella of Angoulême, and more.

“After the death of Richard the Lion-Hearted, a skilled archer named Robin Longstride travels to Nottingham, where villagers suffer under a despotic sheriff and crippling taxation,” reads the official synopsis. “He meets and falls in love with a spirited widow, Marion, although she is skeptical of his motives. Hoping to win her heart and save the village, Robin gathers a band of warriors to fight corruption in Nottingham, little knowing they will soon be fighting to save England itself.”

Ridley Scott directed the Robin Hood movie, with Brian Helgeland writing the screenplay. Executive producers were Michael Costigan, Ryan Kavanaugh, Jim Whitaker, and Charles J.D. Schlissel, with Crowe, Scott, and Brian Grazer serving as producers. The creative team consists of cinematographer John Mathieson, editor Pietro Scalia, composer Marc Streitenfeld, and production designer Arthur Max.
