Samara Weaving on What Parenting Advice She Got From Friend Margot Robbie

Ready or Not star Samara Weaving recently opened up about the wave of support she has received from her friends while waiting for her first child. The 34-year-old actress, who appears in the sequel to Ready or Not, opened up about the parenting advice she got from her friends, including from acclaimed star Margot Robbie.

Samara Weaving recently spoke to PEOPLE about the parenting advice she received from her mom friends. In an exclusive conversation during the Clarins Night of Extra red carpet event in Los Angeles on March 20, 2926, Weaving detailed what her friends told her over the recent months as she awaits the birth of her first child.

“Oh my gosh, all my girls here who are moms have just been so lovely, and I think what they all tell me is just, ‘You do it your way. Whatever makes you feel comfortable,'” Weaving said of her pregnancy.

“I think our society there’s so many voices and opinions, and that it’s tough for women, especially when they’re pregnant and being a mom. So they’re all just so supportive of whatever I want to do is good,” the actress added.

Margot Robbie even supported Weaving at the Ready or Not 2: Here I Come Los Angeles screening on March 16, 2026.

Samara Weaving announced in December 2025 that she was expecting her first baby with husband Jimmy Warden in an Instagram post. Weaving and Warden have been married since 2019.

Weaving has reprised her role as Grace Le Domas in Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, the sequel to the acclaimed 2019 original. The film will also feature Kathryn Newton, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shawn Hatosy, Elijah Wood, and David Cronenberg, among others.

Ready or Not 2: Here I Come in theatres premiered on March 20, 2026.
