Keanu Reeves’ Certified Fresh Action Movie Streams on HBO Max Today

HBO Max subscribers can now watch one of Lionsgate’s star-studded action movies from 2025, which served as a spin-off to Keanu Reeves‘ blockbuster action franchise. During its theatrical run, the film only grossed over $137 million at the global box office against its reported budget of around $90 million.

What Keanu Reeves action movie is now available on HBO Max?

As of today, the latest John Wick movie, Ballerina, starring Oscar nominee Ana de Armas, is finally available to stream on HBO Max. The R-rated prequel spin-off currently holds a Certified Fresh score of 75% on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 305 reviews. It was directed by Len Wiseman, with Shay Hatten writing the screenplay. Besides Reeves, the movie also featured franchise vets Ian McShane as Winston, Anjelica Huston as The Director, and the late Lance Reddick in his last appearance as Charon.

“The next chapter from the World of John Wick follows Eve Macarro, who is beginning her training in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma. Eve seeks revenge for her father’s death, and finds herself crossing paths with John Wick himself,” reads the official synopsis.

Besides De Armas and Reeves, the spin-off also features

The film also introduced franchise newcomers Norman Reedus as Daniel Pine, Gabriel Byrne as The Chancellor, Catalina Sandino Moreno as Lena, Sharon Duncan-Brewster as Nogi, Robert Maaser as Dex, David Casteñeda as Javier, and Choi Sooyoung of Girls’ Generation as Katla Park. The spin-off was produced by Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, Keanu Reeves, and Chad Stahelski. It was a production by Thunder Road Films and 87eleven.
