What happens in the Rosebush Pruning trailer?
The video introduces five American siblings, Edward, Jack, Anna, and Robert, who inherited a lot of wealth following the death of their mother. The trailer highlights their strange and perverse bond with each other, as their dynamic gets disrupted with the arrival of Jack’s girlfriend, Martha. The film is being described as an outrageous, biting satire about the absurdity of the traditional patriarchal family.
Rosebush Pruning is directed by award-winning filmmaker Karim Aїnouz (Firebrand, Invisible Life), with Oscar-nominated scribe Efthimis Filippou writing the screenplay.
