MCU’s Xochitl Gomez Stars in Terrifying Horror Movie Hive Trailer

Tubi has shared the official trailer for Hive, the upcoming supernatural horror thriller starring Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’s Xochitl Gomez. The movie is scheduled to start streaming on April 17, 2026.

“The film is a horror-thriller about a strict, anxious teenager who loses the child she’s babysitting and must brave a sinister force hiding in plain sight among the children in the playground,” reads the official synopsis. “As her world unravels and her grip on reality starts to slip, she must outwit a world where nothing is as it seems to make it out alive.”

What happens in the Hive trailer?

The video introduces Gomez as Sasha, who accepts a babysitting job from a rich family in a strange gated neighborhood to save up for her college tuition. Soon, she’ll realize that there is something wrong with the little girl she’s babysitting, as well as the other kids in the neighborhood. The trailer shows the children acting violently against her, teasing a sinister force controlling their actions. Sasha must find a way to escape the nightmare before she gets permanently trapped.

Hive is written and directed by Felipe Vargas (Rosario). The cast also includes Aaron Dominguez (Only Murders in the Building) as Marco, Zenobia Kloppers (The Wheel of Time) as Frances, Victoria Firsova as Zaley, Tanya van Graan (Summertide) as Camille, Kelly Chandrapaul (The Woman King) as Rosa, and Thulani Nzonzo (White Lies) as Darius. The film is produced by Darren Cameron, Adam Friedlander, Ryan Plachcinski, and Nick Scully, with Samantha Levine and Lance Samuels serving as executive producers.
