Johnny Depp Spotted Shooting Mysterious Horror Movie

Johnny Depp was recently spotted filming a mysterious new movie, which has just gotten some of its first details.

What do we know about Johnny Depp’s new movie?

According to a new report from Kent Online, Depp was seen filming something in the town of Maidstone, in South East England’s Kent. Specifically, Depp was spotted around a store called MuMu’s in the town’s center, which has come with a full production set up as well.

While details regarding the project remain unknown, an employee on set told Kent Online that Depp was reportedly filming a horror film for Netflix, and that the movie would be out in October later this year.

Of course, it’s impossible to verify that type of information, and Netflix themselves have offered up no updates. However, should that be true, it would mark yet another big project for the actor, who seems to be gearing up for some sort of comeback. Depp is also set to star in X director Ti West’s upcoming Ebenezer: A Christmas Carol movie, which is set to release some time in November.

Depp’s last role in a movie came in 2023, in the historical drama Jeanne du Barry. In 2024, he also directed and produced the biographical drama Modì, Three Days on the Wing of Madness.
