Kiefer Sutherland Crime Movie Brothers Under Fire Trailer Previews Intense Action
Vertical has shared the official trailer for Brothers Under Fire, its newest action thriller starring Golden Globe winner Kiefer Sutherland. The movie is scheduled to make its debut on April 17, 2026.
“Captain Jordan Wright’s squadron, on leave for a wedding in Mexico, encounters a murderous cartel. As Jordan tries to lead survivors to safety, war erupts between his squad and the cartel, forcing him into a battle to save his men,” reads the synopsis.

What happens in the Brothers Under Fire trailer?
The video introduces Sutherland as Captain Jordan Wright, who, along with some members of his team, goes to Mexico for a wedding. However, what was meant to be a joyous celebration turned into chaos when they suddenly clash with important cartel members. After fatally wounding one member, Wright must find a way to save his men from the cartel’s wrath. The trailer offers a glimpse at some of the movie’s action-packed sequences.
Brothers Under Fire is directed by Justin Chadwick, with Ian Mackenzie Jeffers and Delbert Hancock writing the screenplay, based on the story by James Keach and Trevor Albert. The ensemble cast also includes Omar Chaparro, Laura Osma, Ashton Sanders, Tommy Martinez, Solly McLeod, Flora Martínez, Laird Akeo, Fredy Yate, Orlando Pineda, Sebastián Sierra, and Gabriel Camero.
Executive producers were Albert, Simon Beltran Echeverri, Arianne Fraser, Delphine Perrier, and Juan Pablo Solano. The film was produced by Nik Bower, Griff Furst, Keach, and Robert Stein. The creative team consists of cinematographer Toby Elwes, editor Joshua Chadwick, and composer Alex Heffes.
