Dhurandhar 2’s Global Box Office Collection Is Massive, Creates 2 Huge Records
Dhurandhar: The Revenge has delivered a major start at the global box office, drawing attention to its early numbers and release scale. The Hindi-language sequel has also set new benchmarks within Bollywood while placing among the biggest worldwide openings for an Indian film.

According to Deadline and Box Office Mojo, Dhurandhar: The Revenge recorded an $81M (₹761 crore) worldwide debut across its first five days. The figure marks the second-biggest global opening for an Indian film, behind Pushpa 2 – The Rule, which earned $97.9M. As a Hindi-language release, it set the highest global opening for a Bollywood film, surpassing Jawan’s $63M worldwide start.
Comscore reported a $56.5M global three-day weekend, placing it second worldwide behind Project Hail Mary at nearly $141M. Of that total, $46.6M came from international markets, with a five-day overseas total of $67M. The film expanded into non-traditional territories including Uruguay, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania, Chile, Mexico and Cyprus, without a Middle East release.
In North America, the film earned $10M over its opening weekend and $14M across five days from 987 locations. This exceeded Pathaan’s $6.9M three-day and $9.5M five-day figures while trailing Baahubali 2’s $10.4M opening weekend record for Indian films. The release played across 987 theaters and maintained a wide distribution footprint during its opening frame.
In India, the film grossed $15M (₹145 crore) on its first day. It followed this with a $49.8M (₹466 crore) opening weekend. Its five-day domestic total reached $58.8M (₹550 crore). According to Jio Studios & B62 Studios, the film recorded the highest advance ticket sales for any Indian movie. It also achieved the highest paid previews and became the fastest to cross ₹300 crore.
The film follows Jaskirat Singh Rangi as he operates under the alias Hamza Ali Mazari. He navigates Karachi’s criminal underworld. The production runs for 3 hours and 50 minutes. It opened on March 19, 2026, across 987 theaters in North America.
