Samara Weaving’s Crime Movie With 100% RT Score Gets Intriguing Teaser Trailer

Magnolia Pictures has shared the official teaser trailer for Carolina Caroline, its newest crime thriller movie led by Ready or Not 2 star Samara Weaving. Following its world premiere at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival, the film is now slated to arrive in theaters on June 5, 2026.

“The film follows Caroline Daniels, whose desire to leave her small Texas town brings her into the orbit of a charismatic con man, and together they weave a path of crime and passion across the American Southeast,” reads the official synopsis.

What happens in the Samara Weaving’s Carolina Caroline teaser trailer?

The video introduces Weaving as Caroline, who becomes an infamous bank robber after escaping her small town with her criminal boyfriend. Together, they embark on a romantic crime spree with Caroline at the center of every elaborate heist. The teaser trailer offers a glimpse of the pair’s relationship, as well as some of Caroline’s disguises during the heists.

Carolina Caroline is directed by Adam Rehmeier, with Tom Dean writing the screenplay. The movie also stars Kyle Gallner, Kyra Sedgwick, Jon Gries, Tommy G. Kendrick, P.J. Sosko, Juan Silva, Gregg Gilmore, Robert Stevens Wayne, and more. It is executive-produced by Leslie Braun, Laena Carroll, Dean, Trent Hubbard, Brittany Kahan, Jack McAdoo, Jan McAdoo, Ross Putman, and Rehmeier. Producers are Chris Abernathy, Stephen Braun, Eric B.
