Marty Supreme HBO Max Streaming Release Date Set for Timothée Chalamet Movie
Marty Supreme is officially headed to streaming, with A24 revealing when the film will arrive on HBO Max.
When does Marty Supreme release on HBO Max?
The Oscar-nominated and Golden Globe-winning film will make its streaming debut exclusively on HBO Max on April 24, 2026. The movie will also debut on HBO’s linear networks the next day, on April 25, 2026.
“In the film, Marty Mauser, a young man with a dream no one respects, goes to hell and back in pursuit of greatness,” reads the official synopsis of the film. The film was a massive success, earning Chalamet another Best Actor nomination at the Academy Awards, as well as several other wins for acting.
Marty Supreme is directed by Uncut Gems co-director Josh Safdie, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Ronald Bronstein. The film stars Chalamet, Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A’zion, Kevin O’Leary, Tyler Okonma, Abel Ferrara, Fran Drescher, Sandra Bernhard, Spenser Granese, Philippe Petit, Luke Manley, and more.
Along with Chalamet, Marty Supreme will feature an incredibly eclectic ensemble, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A’zion, magician Penn Jillette, Shark Tank’s Kevin O’Leary, Abel Ferrara, Fran Drescher, Sandra Bernhard, Spenser Granese, and music artist Tyler, the Creator. The script was written by Safdie and Ronald Bronstein, both of whom are also producing the movie with Eli Bush, Anthony Katagas, Chalamet, and A24.
Safdie made his feature film directorial debut in 2008 with The Pleasure of Being Robbed. He then co-directed a number of movies with his brother, Benny, including 2017’s Good Time with Robert Pattinson and 2019’s Uncut Gems with Adam Sandler. With the two brothers having decided to explore their own solo careers, Benny is now working on The Smashing Machine with Dwayne Johnson, which is expected to be released on October 3, 2025.
