Jon Bernthal shares sweet message about Tom Holland
Jon Bernthal sent an encouraging message to his Spider-Man: Brand New Day co-star Tom Holland on Instagram.
Holland has been a part of the MCU since he made his debut in Captain America: Civil War. He is heading for his fourth film as Spider-Man, picking up from the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
The trailer for the film has already been released, and it features a glimpse into Spider-Man’s fight with Bernthal’s Punisher. The Punisher is among the most anticipated characters in the MCU, and his brief scene was enough to get fans excited.
Ahead of the film, Bernthal posted a blurry photo with Tom Holland from his official Instagram account. “My man @tomholland2013 is one of a kind,” Bernthal wrote in the caption of the post. “I’m so proud and in awe of the Man you have become. I love you brother. Honored to be rolling with you once again,” he added.
In the upcoming Spider-Man film, Holland and Bernthal will share the screen with Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando, and Mark Ruffalo, among others.
The first full-length trailer for the film, which premiered recently, gave a glimpse at the story ahead for Peter Parker. At the end of the previous film, the world forgot about Peter Parker, including his closest friends. This film will pick up from there and will delve into the new threats to the city amidst Spider-Man’s growing personal struggles.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day will hit theaters on July 31, 2026.
