Spider-Man: Brand New Day Trailer Previews MCU Movie With Hulk & Punisher

The first trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day is finally here.

Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man: Brand New Day, also known as Spider-Man 4, arrives in United States theaters next summer. The film is directed by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ Destin Daniel Cretton and will see Tom Holland once again reprise his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man.

Who is in the Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer?

In addition to Holland, Spider-Man 4 stars Zendaya as Michelle “MJ” Jones-Watson, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, Sadie Sink, Liza Colón-Zayas, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Tramell Tillman, Marvin Jones III as Lonnie Lincoln/Tombstone, and Michael Mando as Mac Gargan/Scorpion, the latter of who hasn’t been seen in the MCU since 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming.

In addition to the 2021 Shang-Chi movie, Cretton directed 2012’s I Am Not a Hipster, 2013’s Shirt Term 12, 2017’s The Glass Castle, and 2019’s Just Mercy. He also co-wrote the script for 2017’s The Shack, which was directed by Stuart Hazeldine, and produced 2025’s Lucky Lu.

Additionally, Cretton and Andrew Guest created Marvel’s upcoming Wonder Man television show. That series is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ this coming January and will see Yahya Abdul-Mateen II reprise his role as Simon Williams/Wonder Man, while Ben Kingsley and Arian Moayed also star as Trevor Slattery and P. Cleary.

Just how much the events of Spider-Man 4 will factor into the next MCU movie that arrives after Brand New Day, Avengers: Doomsday, remains to be seen. Holland’s casting in Doomsday or Avengers: Secret Wars has not been confirmed at this time, though there’s been plenty of rumors suggesting that he will show up in one or both of those movies.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day arrives on July 31, 2026.
