Zack Snyder shares Gal Gadot’s new Wonder Woman photo with a Batman twist
The veteran filmmaker recently posted an image of the Israeli actress as Wonder Woman with a Batman twist on social media. In the past few days, he has shared numerous snaps from his Snyderverse with his fans.
In the Wonder Woman photo shared by Zack Snyder on Instagram, fans can see Gal Gadot in a fighting stance, her fists raised, in her signature Amazonian armor. Moreover, she wears large, dark gauntlets that belong to Batman. In the caption, Snyder wrote, “@gal_gadot my Wonder Woman #zacksnydersjusticeleague.”
Commenting on the photo, a fan called for the restoration of the Snyderverse. They wrote, “My new favorite photo of wonder woman #restorethesnyderverse.” Another referred to Snyder’s caption and noted, “Not just yours bro, she is the wonder woman of all of us.”
Meanwhile, a third user commented on the ensemble and stated, “That’s so bada–!!! My Wonder Woman!!” Another DC fan went on to comment, “So Awesome you look amazing with those gauntlets…Your my Diana Prince Wonder woman.”
Notably, Gal Gadot essayed Diana Prince, AKA Wonder Woman, in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman 1984, Justice League, and Zack Snyder’s Justice League. She also had uncredited appearances in Shazam! Fury of the Gods and The Flash.
Since the DCEU was discontinued, James Gunn has taken over with his new DCU. Thus, Wonder Woman’s mantle will soon be taken over by another actress. In June 2025, Gunn told Entertainment Weekly, “Wonder Woman’s a separate thing to the already announced Paradise Lost HBO/Max series, which is slow-moving, but it’s moving. We’re working on Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman’s being written right now.”
On the other hand, in December 2025, the DC co-CEO responded to a Threads post. It stated, “Wonder Woman casting announcement for the DCU will reportedly be made next month in January 2026.” However, Gunn denied the casting rumors and wrote, “Nope.”
