An acclaimed movie starring It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s Glenn Howerton is officially available to watch on Netflix beginning today.

BlackBerry, the biographical comedy-drama, is now available on Netflix. The film was originally released in 2023, and was directed by Matt Johnson of Nirvana the Band the Show fame. The film was written by Johnson and Matthew Miller, and is based on the book Losing the Signal: The Untold Story Behind the Extraordinary Rise and Spectacular Fall of BlackBerry by Jacquie McNish and Sean Silcoff.
The movie tells a dramatized account of the history of BlackBerry, and how it rose to the top of the mobile phone market and subsequently fell following the debut of the iPhone. Alongside Howerton, BlackBerry also features a star-studded cast, including Jay Baruchel, Matt Johnson, Rich Sommer, Michael Ironside, Martin Donovan, Michelle Giroux, SungWon Cho, Mark Critch, Saul Rubinek, and Cary Elwes.
The movie was critically praised at its release and became the most-nominated film in the history of the Canadian Screen Awards when it came out, winning 14 awards, including Best Motion Picture.
