SnyderVerse Fans Have the Same Reactions To Recent Justice League Photos

Zack Snyder has been sharing behind-the-scenes photos from his DC Extended Universe films, including Justice League, on Instagram, over the past several months at regular intervals. However, the frequency of his posting has rapidly increased over the past three days. This sparked widespread speculation among his fans, who were wondering if he had heard their calls to restore the SnyderVerse.

Fans think something is happening with Zack Snyder’s Justice League movie

In anticipation of the fifth anniversary of the release of Zack Snyder’s Justice League, the filmmaker shared six posts related to it on Instagram. They included a shot of Wayne Manor’s interior, a poster for the film, a close-up photo of Jason Momoa’s Aquaman, Snyder looking at Henry Cavill’s Clark Kent (Superman), Wayne T. Carr’s iteration of John Stewart/Green Lantern, who never made it to the big screen, and Ray Porter’s Darkseid.

After seeing them, fans took to social media to speculate that Snyder was coming up with something related to the SnyderVerse. Although Warner Bros. Discovery has long since moved on to the DC Universe under James Gunn’s DC Studios, the demand for Snyder’s universe to return remains high.

Snyder’s post comes weeks after he addressed the possibility of the SnyderVerse returning. While speaking with Josh Horowitz on Happy Sad Confused to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, the Rebel Moon director did not rule out the prospect. He said, “I would never say that there’s no way. I would never because I was on the ride that created Justice League.”

He also revealed that there were some discussions about continuing his DC films in comic book and animated form, and expressed interest in it being realized. “We’ve absolutely talked about it quite a bit,” he stated. “I mean, we live in a world where all that’s possible, and whatever form it would take, that would be amazing.”

Currently, there are no official plans for the SnyderVerse’s return. Meanwhile, Gunn’s DCU is continuing to expand, with Supergirl and Lanterns slated for release this year — in theaters and HBO, respectively — and the Superman sequel, Man of Tomorrow, launching next year.
