Sinner Supper Club Teaser Trailer Previews Unique SXSW Ghost Movie | Exclusive

ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive teaser trailer for Sinner Supper Club, the upcoming horror comedy from directors Daisy Rosato and Nora Kaye. The movie will have its world premiere tonight at the 2026 SXSW Film Festival.

“Nora is late. Alice unceremoniously brought her partner, whose name no one can remember. Jayae doesn’t want to be around ‘these’ people…but came anyway? And Genevieve, the host, has put an unhealthy amount of pressure on this eviction funeral (kinda cringe, right?) to solve all of their problems,” reads the official synopsis.

“As they barrel through the evening, this disintegrating friend group, delirious from the heat and lack of food, desperately throws Hail Marys, caution to the wind, and lamb against the wall, trying to harness some semblance of what they used to have.…and then their dead friend shows up.”

What happens in the Sinner Supper Club teaser trailer?

The video introduces a group of queer friends in New York City as they gather together for an “eviction funeral” during a heatwave. The teaser offers a glimpse at some of the group’s crazy shenanigans. The ensemble cast includes Ashil Lee, Elise Kibler, Genevieve Simon, Jayae Riley Jr., Nora Kaye, Sophie Sagan-Gutherz, and Daisy Rosato.

Described as an improvised queer mumblecore ghost story, Sinner Supper Club is written and directed by Rosato and Kaye, who shot the film on an iPhone. Rosato also served as the cinematographer. It is produced by Sophie Sagan-Gutherz and Jackie Monoson. The creative team consists of editor Laura Conte and production designer Claire Jamison, along with Nico Osborne and sidebody, who handled the film’s sound and music, respectively.
