But when grubby circus impresario Fulbert Freakfinder arrives offering Stitch Head a starring role in his freak show, our hero is tempted by the promise of love and acceptance.

Each village becomes a stage transmitting fables, songs, and stories, revealing cultural erosion and resilience. They face threats including gold mining, floods, and corporate intrusions. Caught between his responsibilities to the community and the demands of his work, Boogie embodies the tension between tradition and economy. The film explores colonial legacy, environmental crisis, and sovereignty through participatory filming.
